The G2 Summer 2026 reports are out, and DNSFilter earned 22 badges across the Grid® and index reports. Only a small fraction of the products on G2 earn a Leader badge in any given season, and this summer you named us a Leader across the overall Grid® Report, the Mid-Market Grid®, the Small-Business Grid®, and the EMEA Regional Grid®, along with Momentum Leader for ranking in the top 25% of our category.

We say “you” deliberately. G2 badges come from one place: Verified reviews written by the people who use DNSFilter every day. With 272 reviews and an average rating of 4.6 stars, DNSFilter ranks among the top three products in G2’s DNS Security Solutions category. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their experience.

What you told us we do well

Badges are a nice summary, but the reviews behind them tell the real story. A few themes came through clearly in reviews from the past several months.

Setup that takes minutes, not days. The implementation badges are backed up by review after review describing fast deployments. An administrator in education wrote in March that DNSFilter “effortlessly blocks unwanted content with easy setup,” and an IT leader reviewing us in April called the onboarding “much easier than other tools we’ve used.” Whether you deploy Roaming Clients through Intune or point a network at our resolvers, getting protected is a same-day project.

Support that actually shows up. Best Relationship reflects something we invest heavily in. A reviewer in April praised how tech support “is always willing to follow up with a new release,” and a July review highlighted support that replies quickly by both chat and email. When a Microsoft field engineer in Argentina raised a deep technical question about policy enforcement over DNS over TLS, our team walked through it transparently, and he called out that interaction as a deciding factor in his review.

Protection you don’t have to babysit. Reviewers consistently describe DNSFilter as a security layer that runs quietly in the background: Accurate threat classification, real-time blocking of phishing and malware domains, and clean reporting when you need to dig in. One security lead summed it up as an “effortless security layer with robust protection.”

Performance under pressure. That same Argentina-based reviewer ran latency and stress tests against other major DNS providers over Starlink connectivity and reported consistently low response times with zero errors under load. Fast DNS resolution is fundamental to everything we build, and it shows up in third-party testing.

Why this matters when you’re evaluating DNS security

Analyst reports have their place, but G2 rankings are built entirely on verified feedback from practitioners: MSPs, IT administrators, and security teams who live in the product. When the same product earns Best Usability, Easiest Admin, Fastest Implementation, and Best Results in the same season, it means you don’t have to trade protection for operational simplicity.

If you’re comparing DNS security vendors, read the reviews for yourself on our G2 profile. And if you’re already a customer who hasn’t weighed in yet, leaving a review helps other teams find us.
