research and development project that\u2019s in the works for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.<\/p>\n<p>The Advanced Analytics Platform for Machine Learning (CAP-M) project, which is being developed by DHS\u2019s Science and Technology Directorate for CISA, is \u201cenvisioned to be a multicloud, multi-tenant environment for testing new software and tools, and developing complex machine learning capabilities,\u201d per DHS\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/sam.gov\/opp\/bef905574e71451396f9d3d20586817a\/view\">request for information<\/a>, posted Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>CAP-M, which will enable end users to \u201cseamlessly access a variety of capabilities across multiple clouds to meet their analytics and computation needs,\u201d leverages a multi-cloud approach, with pre-existing commercial cloud services provided by Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.<\/p>\n<p>DHS\u2019s Office of Mission and Capability Support seeks to understand the \u201ccapabilities of businesses that could supply access to\u201d those three cloud providers, the RFI states. Additionally, DHS aims to conduct market research for a possible CAP-M cloud services contract vehicle. <\/p>\n<div class=\"ad ad--inline_1 \">\n<div class=\"ad__inner\"> <span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Advertisement<\/span> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2023-04\/23_0413_st_cisa_advanced_analytics_platform_for_machine_learning.pdf\">fact sheet published in April<\/a>, CISA said CAP-M\u2019s artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities would ideally provide the agency with improved situational awareness and decision-making tools for cyber and infrastructure security missions,
