(Courtesy of Check Point Technologies) <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"single-article__content\">\n<div class=\"single-article__content-inner has-drop-cap\"> <html readability=\"13.692702702703\"><body readability=\"26.800441826215\"><\/p>\n<p>Israeli cybersecurity firm <a href=\"http:\/\/www.checkpoint.com\/\">Check Point Software Technologies<\/a> has announced it will acquire threat intelligence firm Cyberint, its third startup acquisition in approximately a year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cyberint specializes in threat intelligence and attack surface management products, as well as a services team that provides cybersecurity analysis and threat assessments for its enterprise customers. Check Point said in a press release that it will fold Cyberint into its \u201cSecurity Operations Center (SOC) capabilities and expand its managed threat intelligence offerings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The terms of the acquisition weren\u2019t disclosed, but various reports in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.calcalistech.com\/ctechnews\/article\/rkl2bssoa\">Israeli tech news outlets<\/a> place the deal\u2019s value around $200 million. The deal would signal a significant return for Cyberint\u2019s investors: to date, the company has raised $65 million in venture capital. Previous investors include Israeli venture firms Viola Growth and StageOne Ventures, as well as Italian venture firm Neva SGR.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition marks Check Point\u2019s third such deal in the past year. In August 2023, the <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/08\/10\/check-point-buys-perimeter-81-for-490m-to-enhance-its-security-tools-for-hybrid-and-remote-workers\/\">company acquired Perimeter 81<\/a>, a cloud and network security firm, for $490 million.
